From Tuesday 13th till Sunday 18th of April Don Bosco Youth-Net organised an international training course in Benediktbeuern.   Volunteers from from almost all our network partners participated: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Great-Britain, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain.  The training course introduced the young volunteers in the realities of international youth work in general and Don Bosco Youth-Net in specific.  For this we used different kinds of methods,  like learing by doing and simulation games. As important as these sessions were our evenings.  During the evenings everybody had the chance to socialise, to sing, to play, ... in short to get to know each other.

This week is a crucial step forward for DBYN.  By involving the volunteers directly, we now are constructing a solid working base for the network. A full report can be found in our next newsletter.
