In general the training aims at introducing the participants to international youth work. We do this by focussing on the basic competence needed for international youth work: “interculttural learning”. All sessions are on initiation level; they do not need any precognition. Through the participantion in this week we want to give the participants a taste of the possibilities that exist and hope to install a hunger for more. Elements that are talked about are e.g. working in an international team, communication skills and difficulties, intercultural games, intercultural evening values, conflicts, … This training course is STEP 1 of DBYN’s training structure
