DBYN's partner book

Don Bosco Youth-Net ivzw is an international network which brings together Don Bosco youth organisations and Salesian provinces from 13 different European countries.  Although the members of the network share a common denominator, which is the working style of Don Bosco, they can be very different from each other on the level of target groups,  organizational structure, type of activities, …

We consider this diversity as one of the strengths of the network: because our members are different, they all have their own expertise.  As a network we set-up projects and create tools so we can share this expertise and learn from each other.  This partner book is also such a tool.

In the partner book we bring together information on our full member organisations, focusing on 5 areas:

1.     General information: basic information about the organisations like contact details, the amount of staff, volunteers and young people involved in the organisation, information on the legal status, the geographical focus and the type of publications the organisation has.

2.     Background: a description of the history and philosophy of the organisation.

3.     Mission: - the organisation’s aims and objectives.

4.     Program Areas: the details of the organisation’s major interests and activities.

5.     Structure:  an organigram of the organisations’ structure. to offer a clear view on how the organisation is formally structured.

This information gives a introduction on who our member organisation are and what they are doing.  If you are interested in getting to know more about them, you can use the contact details, also included in the overview, to contact the organisations directly.
