Mission:

Overcoming every discomfort kinds, paying attention to minors and young people.
Put social solidarity, voluntary culture and juvenile leading into effect.
Declare every disadvantage category rights, particularly minors rights, and overcoming economic-social-territorial and cultural lack of balance.
Achieve the rights of citizenship and put equal opportunity among women and men into effect.
Achieve concretely culture, instruction and lasting training rights.
Put the equality, the equal social dignity of guys and of groups into effect

Example activities:

Share of information between partners on the activities in collaboration with other public associations.
Promote with projects like the national voluntary civic service the voluntary culture,solidarity and a responsible and active participation in the social life particularly in the field of juvenile discomfort
Education of volunteers (animators, administrative workers...): training courses and educational programmes for volunteers active at local level (fundraising, communication, leadership, strategic planning, financial management, training for accountants)
International activities (exchanges, EVS, participation at European Union calls for proposals, etc.)

Background:

The SCS/CNOS federation (Social and Civil Services / National Centre Salesian Works; in succession, in short, the Federation),is an organisation promoted by the italian salesians,which is expressly inspired by Saint Giovanni Bosco’s human and instructive experience and expressly inspired by Salesian instructive way. Two are the Federation main purposes:
Co-ordination and promotion of own partners activity performing in the voluntary area, performing in the discomfort and juvenile isolation area, performing in conscientious objection and civil service area.
Planning and accomplishment of presences turned in favour of minors and young people, particulary the ones that live in a isolated condition, the ones that live in discomfort and social exclusion.
