During the last weekend of March, Jeugddienst Don Bosco vzw organised Air Solidair, the first meeting of international volunteers in Belgium.

Air Solidair took place in Groot-Bijgaarden in the Oase-center from the 27th until the 29th of March. The aim of this weekend was to give a proper preparation to all volunteers who will be active in an international project during the next summer holidays. These projects range from playground exchanges within Europe and the DBYN-network until international projects in different countries of Africa, Mexico and in Georgia.

The volunteers who are going abroad are all willing to take up a voluntary service in the project they're going to and therefore we believe that a good preparation is necessary to let all projects succeed.

Next to this it was another aim to let the young people get to know the other international activities of Jeugddienst Don Bosco vzw so that if they retrun after their international project of this year, they will have a large offer to choose for another joyful commitment on international level. In this way, we try to keep the young people warm for further involvement within DBYN.
