My name is Marina Finck. I study social work at the Katholische Stiftungsfachhochschule München (KSFH), University of Applied Sciences in Germany. The study also includes a practical semester. Therefore I started my work in the international secretariat at the 22nd of February. To complete the placement I will be there for 22 weeks till the 15th of August. For this placement I am financial supported from the scholarship of the Erasmus programme.

At the first weeks I read the policy papers of the DBYN to know the aims, working style, etc. I am very interested to know more about the intercultural aspects of the European member organisations and the working style among the volunteers and the staffs. The first personal experiences with the member organisations I will get at the Meeting of the GEB in Prague. I will take part in the other upcoming activities, too. So we can meet in person one day.
