Youth Advocacy Seminar in Prague From the 11th to the 14th of March, about 30 young people from 13 different countries in Europe gathered for the seminar "Speaking up", organised by DBYN and sponsored by the EU "Youth in Action"-progamme. The participants gathered in Prague to learn about how to be more active citizens and how to speak up. The content of this seminar was about advocacy methods and issues. Two trainers of DBYN's pool of trainer provided workshops through which the advocacy process became clearer to all participants. Starting from defining issues and forming objectives we focused on how to approach the problems youth work is facing and how to bring change on local, national and even international level. It became clear to us that good cooperation and the structure of our DBYN or local networks is a key to success, a message which the participants are bringing back to their local organisations.
