The seminar “Glocalising International Volunteers” focuses on European citizenship: we want to motivate the participants to use the “global experience” they have acquired during an international voluntary service to make social change in their “local environment”. All participants have all done a voluntary service (short-term or long-term) in Europe or in the Developing Countries where they worked as youth workers . Through the sessions of the seminar the participants will have the possibility of exchanging experiences about their voluntary service and see how they can transform this experience into a renewed engagement as a volunteer in their local communities. The seminar will be developed through non formal methods which include working in smaller groups, plenary discussions, creative workshops, presentations, an exchange market, different evaluation techniques and informal moments.
