Mission: 

 

The Aktionszentrum is a youth retreat centre with the main goal of taking care of young peoples live. The foundation of the work is the Christian way of thinking of human beings and the model of Don Bosco. Aim groups are young people, young adults and youth instructors. Main tasks are retreat work, international youthwork, volunteering and hosting groups. By offering programme we try to reach personal, religious, intercultural, ecological and political competences. The way of working with young people is to accept everybody with the own dignity and respect.

Example activities: 

Maintaining and developing a Retreat Centre where young people can experience community living, leadership training and spiritual formation, and reflect on their life situations and roles. As a Retreat Centre we host different groups:

 

1. Retreats for school classes
2. International youth exchanges
3. Courses for youth instructors
4. Youth pastoral work
5. Open seminars
6. Hosting different groups and offering programme

Background: 

 

The Aktionszentrum is a retreat house recognized by the government, with an accent on training of young people. Since 1976 the Aktionszentrum is offering possibilities of training for pupils and youth instructors.
